Featured as guest on the January 15th of “Strong Heart”, B1A4’s Sandeul couldn’t held his tears while sharing an emotional story with fans.
During the episode, actress Kim Jung Hwa brought tears to the set by sharing her feelings about saying goodbye to her mother, who has passed away due to cancer. B1A4’s Sanduel shed tears upon hearing the painful story, and when it was his turn to talk, he had to try very hard to tell his own story.
The singer said, “My grandfather currently has cancer, but he can’t receive treatment because he’s in the last stages.” He then added after one silence moment, “However, he doesn’t know that he has cancer.”
Sandeul burst into tears and said, “He has a bright personality. We thought it would be better if he doesn’t know since he’s not able to receive treatment anyway. Everyone in the family tries to act like nothing is wrong around him.”
Seeing the young singer’s sadness, actor Park Shin Yang requested a short break to give Sanduel time to calm down.
